Yayopay is a newly launched website that claims to be paying users for completing tasks, daily login and also referring others. On a daily basis, they claim new tasks will be uploaded and users who are able to complete these tasks would earn extra revenue that can be withdrawn. What makes everything even more interesting is, users are given free 2,000 naira bonus upon sign up. Upon closer inspection however, I discovered that yayopay.com is most likely not legit.
So in this article, we will be having a look at my findings about yayopay in details to enable you make informed decisions whether or not to join. It’s one thing to join a platform that claims to be paying money and it’s another to actually get paid after completing the various tasks and doing your own part.
About Yayopay
Yayopay as the name implies is an earning platform where users complete simple tasks, refer and also login daily in order to earn money. It’s not the first of a kind as we’ve seen many other task earning platforms; both the real and fake ones get launched promising heaven and earth only to end up disappointing alot of users.
Upon creating an account and logging into my account, something amazed me about the platform and that is the absence of spammy adverts and pop ups. It’s usually commonplace for similar platforms to install very annoying adverts all over their website to generate revenue from visits of users. I didn’t see any annoying ad and that almost made me have more faith in the platform.
When it comes to how it works, the overall idea is to create an account, start completing tasks on a daily basis to earn and also, when you refer people you earn 200 naira and also if you are consistently logging into your account daily. For better understanding, we will be discussing the earning methods.
Earning Methods
There are only three ways of earning on yayopay and they are as follows;
1. Completing tasks – on a general note, the main idea behind the platform is complete tasks and earn. It’s a task earning platform but then, there are other little ways of earning extra income according to the information on the webpage.
After logging into your account, you will see the tasks tab, clicking on it will give you access to the available tasks to complete that day in order to earn. It appears these tasks are released by the administrators every new day, so you probably have to be active daily to access the tasks.
2. Referring – they claim users who refer others will get 200 naira per verified referral. So if you copy your referral link and share to friends, when anyone creates an account using the link, you earn 200 naira. On the page, there is no information regarding a limit to the referral count — meaning you are allowed to refer as many as possible in order to boost your overall earnings.
However, the part I didn’t understand and still don’t understand in the referral campaign is the “Verified” referral claim. Reason is, while signing up, users are not asked to complete any form of verification to ascertain or affirm that they are real users. So how do they expect to filter out bad eggs who may be out to exploit the loophole? A question that begs an answer.
3. Daily logging – logging in daily will earn you extra 200 naira bonus that will be added to your balance daily for opening the website on a daily basis. I guess the reward is to ensure users take the platform seriously. So if you don’t have the means to refer others, the daily logging feature is a kind of way out of the earning stagnancy.
Is Yayopay Legit Or Scam?
Yayopay is not legit! Based on my analysis, it’s no different from the countless websites getting created by random individuals to milk ad revenue from users. At the moment for whatever reason, they don’t have any annoying ad on their website but in the nearest future it will most likely be added.
There are some key reasons for saying Yayopay is most likely not legit and the most important is the fact that, users can’t access their earnings at any time. There is a payment date i.e. a set-out date for withdrawals and payment processing. In as much as, it’s not really a bad idea for a platform to have a fixed date to reduce the burden and stress of paying randomly the truth is, yayopay intentionally made their withdrawal date very far.
The goal is to generate enough revenue from users activities on the site and then when it’s time for payment, the site either stops opening or whoever runs the site simply opens a new one and forgets this one alongside the sizeable number of users they would leave heartbroken. Anytime I am conducting a research for a review, I often check if there is a fixed payment date.
It’s a very negative sign especially coming from free-to-earn platforms with slightly unrealistic earning structure. Users should be able to access their earnings at anytime they feel like; anything short of that is not acceptable and must be looked at in a suspicious manner.
Secondly, the minimum threshold is high. To access your earnings on the set date for withdrawal, you still need to earn up to 25,000 naira. One key sign of a free-to-earn platform that actually pays is, low threshold. High threshold is one of the red flags especially if it’s coming from a platform that claims to be paying for free. Yayopay minimum threshold is 25,000 naira and the fixed payment date is 20th April, 2025. Over a month after it’s launch, further reiterating what I stated earlier about fixed payment date being a dubious tactic to evade responsibility.
Additionally, yayopay doesn’t have a customer support team. There is no way to reach the customer support team — yet another negative indication that can’t be overlooked. No earning platform can operate without providing the users with an avenue to reach support because people would always have questions or encounter problems. Sites like this intentionally shield themselves to prevent being held accountable.
They know a lot of people will be disappointed if they don’t pay and most will move to contact support, so they hid the option to contact support, in order not to be bugged with messages when they don’t pay. If you want to join any earning platform, endeavour to check around the options to know if they have a customer support.
Any earning website or platform without an option for users to reach any customer support should not be taken seriously as that is one of the key indications that a site won’t meet their own end of the bargain.
Too good to be true – Upon sign up, users are given 2000 naira bonus and to me, that’s too good to be true. It’s unrealistic for a site that claims to be paying for free to also give you a welcome bonus. I have participated in some free-to-earn platforms that truly pay, their earning structure is usually stringent, so once a site starts giving welcome bonus and also claiming you have to withdraw on a fixed date, just know it’s most likely scam.
Pros 
Is there anything positive about yayopay? None that I know about. I didn’t find anything positive or good about the platform. It just reeks of potential waste of time.
Cons
Here is a summary of the red flags or reasons to reconsider joining yayopay;
1. No way to reach the customer support. There is no provision for support contact on yayopay and that’s a very negative indication.
2. High withdrawal threshold pegged at 25,000 naira, which I consider alot for a site that claims to be paying for free.
3. Fixed payment date; users can’t access their earnings anytime they feel like, as a matter of fact, withdrawals can only be made on the 20th of April.
4. Unrealistic – users are given free 2,000 naira upon sign up plus many other earning methods that I consider too good to be true and there is a popular adage that if something feels too good to be true, there is a possibility it isn’t true.
Conclusion
The bottom line is that, yayopay is most likely another deceitful webpage created to generate ad revenue from users without paying them a dime. The indications are not looking good and as such, if I were you, I would reconsider joining and if I’ve joined already I just forget the site ever existed.
