There’s been numerous payment proofs on social media from the app but the reality is, it’s not as easy as social media makes it seem.
So in this article, we will be having a look at a few important things to know about FunTV Earning App, most especially, the truth about its legitimacy i.e. telling you the truth as it is without mincing words. If you have plans to download the app and start watching videos to earn, this article will serve as an eye opener to you in various ways. Without wasting more of your time, let’s get started!
About FunTV
As earlier mentioned, FunTV is a mobile application that provides users the opportunity to earn money on a daily basis by watching the short video clips on the app. If you are interested in earning money, the first step is to download the app, sign up and start viewing the uploaded video clips to earn points.
The points earned can be withdrawn directly to one’s PayPal or any other available payment method available on the app using their conversion rate. Therefore, the goal of most users is to earn and accumulate as much points as possible in order to be able to withdraw.
Users don’t get paid in any particular currency per say, you earn points that can be swapped to money and withdrawn to your chosen payment method.
Earning Methods
When it comes to the earning methods, there are two main ways to earn points on FunTV and they are as follows;
1. Completing Tasks
Tasks completion is one key way to earn on FunTV and it goes beyond just watching videos. You earn when you watch the episodes available on the app and also, earn when you complete some milestone tasks such as daily check-in and viewing ads on a daily basis.
As a user, you have the chance to watch videos to earn, watch ads to earn and even check-in daily to earn some coins. The daily check-in task reward increases the more you consistently maintain a habit or streak of opening the app and claiming the points for a given day. The more you do it, the more coins you unlock.
The other daily tasks have to do with watching a short advert, so brace yourself to view numerous ads if you really want to earn on the mobile application.
2. Referral Bonus
This is another way to earn on FunTV — referring others gives you as up to 195,000 coins but it doesn’t get credited to you immediately the referral creates an account. There are some additional requirements to unlock the full bonus; so it takes a great deal of seriousness from your referrals in order for you to get the full bonus. Without wasting more time, below is a breakdown of the referral program;
- Once your referral successfully downloads the app and creates an account using your link, you get 55,000 coins.
- If the referral watches at least 10 episodes any day, you receive additional 10,000 coins
- Referral watches 10 episodes daily for at least 3 days and above, you get another 60,000 coins
- Finally, if your referral(s) watches 10 episodes of short drama daily for 7 days straight, you receive 70,000 coins.
Therefore, it’s evident that you only unlock the full referral rewards when your referrals remain active for an extended period of time. So it goes beyond just getting people to create an account through your link, you need to encourage them to engage in the daily activities and watch various episodes of the short drama to earn your full bonus.
To get your referral link, simply click on Rewards and tap on Invite friends, then copy your link and start sharing it to others.
3. Smash PiggyBank
While on the homepage, you will see a floating pig icon on the lower right side, simply click on it and complete the few tasks required to smash the PiggyBank for the day and unlock up to 80,000 coins.
It’s another easy way to earn more money on the platform but it usually involves referring just a few users and watching a certain number of videos daily to unlock the bonus.
Getting Started
The first step is to download the FunTV app from either Play store or Apple store and proceed to create an account.
After creating an account, you will be logged into the main dashboard with several collections of videos to choose from. Simply click on any of the short dramas and start watching to earn coins.
Like I said earlier, if you spend long period of time watching the episodes of the short dramas, you earn points that can be converted to real life currency.
How to Withdraw From FunTV
The minimum withdrawal is 5,125,000 gold coins equivalent to $5. Once you have earned up to the amount or more, click on the profile tab and proceed to Withdrawal.
On the withdrawal page, you will be shown some fixed amounts to choose from. Sadly, there is no option to enter an amount manually, select the one that matches what you have in your balance, select the payment method (PayPal) and submit for payment.
According to the information on the dashboard, the withdrawal will be processed within 7 business days. Hence, don’t expect the payment to arrive instantly upon submission of the request.
Is FunTV Earning App Legit?
In my opinion and from my analysis, FunTV Earning App is not Legit! While it sounds odd given that there’s quite a few payment screenshots and proof on social media, the truth is, the app was designed to primarily generate ad revenue for the administrators.
If you want to really earn some less significant money on the app, you will have to spend an equivalent amount or even more on data purchases in order to earn something significant enough to even be up to the withdrawal threshold.
I tried to participate at first to understand it better but I was slapped with so many adverts that even made navigation and peaceful scrolling on the app impracticable.
The app was designed in such a way that for you to earn a single coin, you have to be faced with many ads; thus making the whole earning structure exploitative in nature. Like, the users being exploited instead of being paid money.
Additionally, the minimum withdrawal threshold is on the high side. If there is nothing I discovered, it’s that the minimum withdrawal amount is very high. This is especially painful when you check the earning capacity and number of annoying ads but have to contend with to earn coins on the app. The conversion rate from in-app coins to currency is also very poor.
How on earth is 5million+ coins equivalent to just $5? It’s extremely poor and honestly typical of platforms that are basically out to milk ad revenue from users. The time and data it will take to reach the threshold will be eventually worth more than the amount you’d end up withdrawing. So it’s pointless.
Less withdrawal methods also serves as a major disservice to users in countries where PayPal isn’t available. The only payment method is PayPal and given that, some users can’t really use PayPal at the moment, makes it unsuitable for most people.
Generally, I would say, FunTV is not really worth the time and data expense it would take to reach threshold or even earn some stipends in the long run. Therefore, if you have more important things to do online, it’s best to stick to them and steer clear of this so called earning app.
Pros
Does it mean, FunTV is all shades of bad? The answer is no. There is actually something positive about it and it has nothing to do with the earning aspect.
For me, the only good thing about it is, the fact that you might find some nice short drama on the app. So if you are someone who likes to watch short video clips, you might actually find it interesting to an extent.
Cons
Here is a summary of the downsides or better put reasons to not participate;
- Poor earning structure
- Spammy ads that make navigation and use of the app very difficult.
- Unreasonably high withdrawal threshold
Conclusion
FunTV is one of those made-for-ads mobile applications that promise to pay users money but in the real sense, they are just out to farm users and generate advert revenue form the users. Is it recommendable? No! Don’t waste your time.
