Pillar AI is an application that claims to be paying users for helping improve Artificial Intelligence. From my assessment, users are given a couple of topics to read about and while reading it, you record your voice and upload to the system in the process to earn some money. The app seems cool and promising, given that they claim more paid gigs will be uploaded for users to earn further from while “improving AI”.
However, in my opinion, it’s best not to get your hopes up or have more expectations as there are some negative reviews and also, things about pillar AI that are unclear. So in this article, we will be having a look at all there is to know about pillar AI App, the earning methods and finally, the reason why you should probably reduce your expectations as you participate. Without wasting more time, let’s dive right into why we are here!
About Pillar AI App
Pillar AI App is an earning platform created to reward users monetarily while improving Artificial Intelligence. As a user, you are expected to record your voice while reading out things on various topics shown to you and for each task or gig completed, you get credited with $1 reward.
It doesn’t end there. Upon Sign up, users are greeted with about 10 paid gigs after completing the initial verification task. Therefore, if you are able to complete all the available paid gigs, you will have about $10-15 reward waiting to get paid to you during their payment cycle.
According to the information on the app, users are also encouraged to check back after sometime to complete more paid gigs. There isn’t much details available on Playstore or app store besides the fact that, they claim to be paying users for helping improve AI.
Earning Methods
Apart from completing the paid gigs which is like, the main reason for even downloading or signing up on the app, you also get to earn money by referring others to complete the paid gigs. If you are able to refer others to sign up and complete the paid gigs using your referral code, you get paid $5 per person.
However, unlike other earning platforms, pillar AI has a limit to what they pay referrers. You can refer as many as possible but the total payment you can get is $10 i.e. from referring just two qualified users.

Wondering how to get your referral code, click on the package icon on your dashboard and copy your referral code or share it directly from there to social media and get rewarded when the invited referrals complete the paid gigs.
How to Get Started

Pillar AI is only available to US residents, so if you are in the US, hop into Playstore or App store and search for Pillar AI, then download and sign up with your details.
It is important to create an account using the same email you used in creating PayPal account as they tend to send the rewards directly to the email address.
However, if you are not in the US, there is a bypass for it. You can download any strong VPN, connect to a server in the United States, then open Playstore or app store and download the pillar AI, follow same process to create an account.
Then complete the baseline gig for verification. Once you are done with it, a mail will be sent to you, notifying you of the fact that your account has been formally approved for paid gigs.
You will now be shown the welcome paid gigs to complete in order to get the fixed rewards. Each task will fetch you a dollar.
How to Withdraw from Pillar AI
The pillar AI payment system is one of the reasons why I think it’s best for the participants to lower their expectations. Reason is, there is no option on the app to request for payment and there is no information regarding the minimum amount users can withdraw from the app.
According to the information gotten from the automated response I received from their customer support, payments are disbursed to qualified users every Monday — there isn’t any information on the minimum amount required to make withdrawals. They process payment automatically to the PayPal email linked to the account.
But if you have already created an account with an email that’s not linked to your PayPal, the next option is to update your PayPal email in the profile section.
Is Pillar AI App Legit?

The truth is, Pillar AI App may actually be legit as some users have been paid and are still being paid but it seems as though, they select the users to pay every Monday. Reason is, I completed the tasks last week and even updated my PayPal email, but didn’t receive a dime from them.

I decided to check out the reviews on playstore and discovered that, many other users have also complained about the skipped payments or delays in payment processing. So I decided to send them a mail and got an automated response from them, indicating that PayPal sometimes blocks their payments and it could take about, 7 days for all that to be resolved.
As someone who’s had significant experience with earning applications and platforms, all the excuses don’t add up and as such, it’s best to lower your expectations as they may not end up paying users. Worse still, those who are make use of Virtual Private Networks i.e. users who are not in the US and other developed countries may not be paid in the long run because a review might be conducted as time goes on.
So whether you are in the US or in Europe or in an unsupported region, I think it’s best to lower your expectations, don’t get your hopes up because, Pillar AI is just a new application judging from the number of downloads and reviews on Playstore. They can stop paying at anytime without having to explain to anyone.
Another major complaint of users from the reviews I went through was the lack of paid gigs after completing the set of tasks available upon sign up. Tasks are not usually updated, so don’t expect to always see paid gigs or get “free cash” from the app on a regular basis.
There are some other less appealing factors such as the referral bonus limit and the poor payout system. So if you are going to participate regardless, do that with less hopes of getting paid.
Pros
Here is a summary of the upsides of joining pillar AI or trying it out;
- Rewarding gigs – with a fixed reward of $1 per task completed.
- Easy-to-use application
- Fair referral incentive though limited to just 2
- Easy to complete gigs.
- No sensitive information required
Cons
On the other hand, there are a few downsides or negative things about the app that are worthy of note and they are;
- Poor payment system
- Limited withdrawal methods — the only way to get paid is through PayPal and with the restrictions on use of PayPal in some countries, it’s much more difficult to participate.
- Numerous complaints of skipped payments or lack of payments from users.
- Unresponsive customer support.
Conclusion
Pillar AI App is an earning platform that, at the time of writing this article may not be paying as it should. There are many negative reviews about the app on the Internet, with most users complaining about lack of payments on the due date. So if you’re going to participate, it’s best to lower your expectations.
Thanks.
