DoRise with the url, doriise.name.ng is a fraudulent website and as such, it’s best to stay away from the platform unless you are ready to deposit money in vain. If you are the kind of person who often scrolls around on social media in search of money making opportunities, there is a high chance you have come across a website known as DoRise — that claims to be paying users money for free when they complete tasks on a daily basis.
Under normal circumstances, the main reason that attracted me to create an account on the platform is the fact that, most people were saying it’s free-to-earn and all sorts. So I decided to give it a try and the outcome was far from favourable. From frequent change of rules to outright scam at the end. In this article, we will be going over all you ought to know about doRise earning platform and why you should stay away from it for your own good.
What is DoRise, and How Does It Work?
DoRise is an earning platform that rewards users with monetary benefits when they complete tasks as well as when they refer others. The site was recently created and gaining some level of attention on social media with most people claiming, it’s a free earning platform that actually pays.
When you create an account and get signed into the main dashboard, you will have to view adverts on a daily basis to earn money and from what I experienced, it’s possible to earn up to 3,000 naira and above in a single day because I did it by viewing ads for 40 seconds.
The tasks on the site involves viewing short ads for some seconds to earn. Some of the tasks are highly rewarding with users getting as much as 1,000 naira for viewing an advert. I tried it out and actually earned up to the minimum threshold within a short period of time and to be honest, it felt too good to be true but I just decided to try it out regardless.
Earning Methods
There are two main ways of earning on DoRise and they are;
1. Tasks – when you complete tasks, you earn money on DoRise. It’s actually the primary earning method, given that it’s a PTC website and by default, all such sites pay users when they click and view adverts daily. The interesting part is, you don’t even need to view these ads for long to get credited with the earnings. There is a timer on each ad clicked and once the timer runs out, you will be taken back to your dashboard with the option to claim reward enabled.
You simply click on the claim button and proceed to complete other tasks. There are about 5-10 tasks to complete on the site and the ones at the bottom have the most earnings but then, how real are these earnings? A question we will answer later on in this piece.
2. Referrals – when you refer others, you earn money too. Most online earning platforms have a referral program and on DoRise, it’s no different. You earn up to 250 naira for each referral introduced to the site. Once the person creates an account, you get credited with the amount and can withdraw as all amounts gets added to the same balance.
To get your referral link after sign up, click on share, there you will see your referral link. Copy and share to others for a chance to earn up to 250 naira per person who creates an account using the link.
Why doriise.name.ng is A Scam
In order not to bore you with much texts for a platform that is not legit, here are the very valid reasons why DoRise is not a platform to join;
1. Frequent Change of Policy – prior to my creating an account, I stumbled upon numerous writeups from various social media pages about the platform and how one can get paid for free simply by viewing adverts. As someone who likes to test out things, I decided to check it out myself to confirm if it will be a good fit for my audience. Upon sign up, they announced a change in their minimum withdrawal threshold — a move I felt was in the right direction as they reduced the threshold from 10,000 naira to 3,000 naira to make it easier and more possible for people to place withdrawal.

The reason why I felt good about the new policy change was due to how high the task earnings are. So I completed a few tasks and when it was time to withdraw, I clicked on Cash on the dashboard and filled in my bank details then tried to submit, only for me to be taken to a different page to activate Account by making a 500 naira deposit.
The administrators now updated their official group chat that it’s introduced to curb fake people and ensure seriousness. I paid the money to the account and it took over an hour for them to finally acknowledge my payment and activate the account.
I tried to withdraw again and was greeted with another error, “you have to refer up to 20 people” to place withdrawal. Making it impossible yet again for me to access my earnings.
The frequent change of policy is a key reason to stay away from DoRise. No legit platform changes the rules that way, it’s mostly done by scammers who are just out to milk money from users. I confronted the administrator on their official group and he closed the group instead of politely tackling or attending to my concern.
Why would a platform introduce a stringent referral requirement all of a sudden if not that they are just after the 500 naira deposit from users and not actually out to pay anybody.
In a nutshell, two key factors led to me concluding that, DoRise is a scam and they are;
- Introduction of an activation fee for a platform that was initially sold to people as “FREE“.
- The compulsory referral requirement. It’s a typical move by scam websites to hinder people from placing withdrawal. They intentionally introduced the 20 referral requirement because there is no plan to pay a dime.
2. Unrealistic Earning Structure – the frequent change of policy is just one of the main reason, the issue of unrealistic earning is another reason that convinced me to not take the platform even more seriously than I already took it. The earnings attached to the tasks are too high and unrealistic to be true and there is a popular saying that if something seems to good to be true, then it may not be true.
I saw tasks that had 1,000 naira, 500, and even 800 naira tag and that’s just too unrealistic for a so called free-to-earn platform. I just decided to complete the tasks and try the withdrawal to finally conclude my suspicions of it being a scam. The referral program as well when they don’t even have a single verification system in place all made it so clear that, the site is a waste of time.
Imagine viewing the annoying ads, referring people and still paying 500 naira only to not be paid? The pain would be too serious to be bear and that’s why I’m making this review to stop you from making the same mistake I made.
3. Spammy website filled with annoying adverts that make it almost impossible to navigate. This is another factor that further convinced me that, doriise.name.ng wasn’t legit. Upon opening the site, you will be greeted with numerous pop up ads that make it even very difficult to do what you came for. The administrator just created the site to generate revenue from visits of users and also to defraud people who may be blinded by greed enough to pay the activation fee.
So there’s absolutely no point registering or doing more tasks on DoRise. no one has been paid and there is almost no chance of it paying anybody in the nearest future.
Conclusion
DoRise is yet again another fraudulent website hosted to deceive innocent people looking for ways to earn passive income. The signs are glaring and if you are not still convinced enough by what we’ve discussed, then maybe you should go ahead and give it a try.
