Gainplus is a platform that pays users for completing tasks, sharing sponsored posts and referring others. They also claim to be providing new users with the opportunity to monetize their social media pages or handles. In recent times, it’s been trending and making the rounds on social media, so I decided to dig deeper into the legitimacy and discovered, there’s actually more to it than what people say.

Final Verdict 

Well, personally, I would say, gainplus is more like a trade. It’s not legit in the real sense of the word because, the inviters or referrers are simply bringing in people for the administrators of the site to defraud and give them a share of the revenue.

Why do I say so? The referral income is the only thing that can be withdrawn randomly i.e. at any time. According to obtained information, referral income withdrawals are done from 7pm to 9pm daily and the threshold is very small compared to task withdrawal threshold.

So people referring you to join Gainplus are simply doing so to withdraw the juicy referral income leaving you high and dry. I understand that referrers should be appreciated in every platform that intends to grow but then, the users being invited — after spending their hard earned money, they also deserve some fair treatment.

The minimum withdrawal amount differs depending on the plan purchased. The basic plan which is 750 naira comes with a 15,000 naira threshold and a fixed payment date.

On the other hand, I found quite a lot of negative things about Gainplus that are worthy of note and should serve as a deterrent to a lot of individuals who may be planning to participate;

• Fixed payment date – according to them, withdrawals from tasks can only be done on the 15th & 30th of every month.
• Referral-based – they simply share the money paid by users to the referrers and keep the rest. If you’re not able to refer, you will find out that at the end, there’s nothing for you.
• Coupon code sign up system – the coupon sign up system whereby, users have to message vendors on WhatsApp for code to proceed with account upgrade or creation is far outdated. It’s done mainly by affiliate based sites that have little to no intention to pay a dime to normal users and unsurprisingly so, that’s what Gainplus is all about.

Conclusion

Should you join Gainplus? Well, that’s left for you to decide. I believe I’ve laid down most of the important factors to consider before making the decision to either go ahead or back-off.
