Hunnybag review

Hunnybag — a website that claims to be rewarding users with free $100 reward upon sign up and they also claim this welcome bonus can be withdrawn if the user is able to refer at least 5 users to create an account using his or her own link. However, it’s not the first time nor is it the second time a site like this is getting launched; the worst part is, this wouldn’t be the last time.

Hunnybag is just an old wine in a new bottle. There’s been numerous other platforms with similar interface claiming to pay users free money when they complete simple tasks and offers. It’s recurring and to be honest, I find it exhausting to know that a lot of internet users still fall prey to the antics of the administrators of these websites. In this article, we will be going over the various reasons why you should entirely stay away from hunnybag or whatever it’s called.

I mean, there are platforms available on the Internet that actually pays users money for completing tasks, there are survey sites and opinion polls but since I started spending prolonged time on the Internet, I have never for once, seen a website paying users up to $100 for just creating an account and also, up to $50 per referral. It’s simply too unrealistic to be true and the fact that sites like this keep getting launched, I’m lost as to what the perpetrators gain from wasting people’s time.

About Hunnybag

Hunnybag is a website on the Internet that claims to be rewarding all new users with up to $100 sign up bonus which they claim can be withdrawn directly to ones preferred payment method.

Upon stumbling on the site, I created an account, got the sign up bonus and also saw a bold withdraw button, clicked on it and was asked to refer 5 persons to unlock the withdrawal. The interesting part is, each person referred will add $50 to my account including the $2 per click on my link.

Under normal circumstances, the offer is juicy enough to convince any newbie on the Internet to take them seriously. Imagine being told, you will be given a whooping $50 per person who creates an account and the most interesting part is, the sign up process is seamless and doesn’t require any form of ID or verification. It’s mind boggling and if I weren’t me, I would have fallen for it, easily.

It doesn’t end at just the sign up bonus and mind-blowing referral program, they also claim users can earn money by completing offers and that’s one scary part, you should really, really beware of. At first, I didn’t have a clue of what whoever is always launching such sites is gaining from doing so, until I saw the offers section.

What’s the Offers Section About?

Hunnybag review

Here on hunnybag, you will see tasks or better put, Mobile applications to download in order to earn $100. They claim, you will be paid $100 per mobile application downloaded and worst part is, most of the apps are quite popular and known.

When I clicked on this part of the webpage, I saw WhatsApp, Telegram X and many other popular applications and the first thought that crossed my mind is, why would a reputable company like Telegram or Meta pay money to a cheap website to help them promote their apps?

I mean, WhatsApp and Telegram are already super popular and widespread. Curiosity still made me click on the link to download the apps and instead of being directed to a reputable app store like Play store, my device prompted me to authorize the download of a certain apk file.

That was when it hit me! The team behind hunnybag are scammers and they are out to either attack people’s devices with malware and dangerous software or they are out to steal information via the unauthorized versions of the apps they want users to download.

Why Hunnybag is a Scam

From all we’ve discussed, it’s no longer a question of if hunnybag is a scam, the point now is to show you the reasons why it’s a scam and why you should probably steer clear entirely. I know the offers are enticing and there are numerous people on social media falling for their tricks but it’s in your own best interest to stay away from all such posts.

If you’re someone who has spent enough time on the Internet and navigated or participated in many online earning sites, then there is a high chance you already know why it’s not a site to be trusted but for those who have little to no knowledge of how to identify fraudulent or spammy websites, here are key things about Hunnybag you should take note of;

1. High or unrealistic reward structure :- when a site, especially a free-to-earn platform offers to pay out so much money for free, that’s one of the key indications that it could be a scam. I mean, imagine hunnybag claiming to reward all new users with a whooping $100 reward and also, giving everyone $50 per referral and also reward for getting people to click on their referral links? It’s already crystal clear that, no one’s is going to get a dime from the numerous amounts and rewards being mentioned.

It’s all a ploy to get users to create an account and promote the site to others. People tend to fall for things that are too good to be true, not knowing that if it seems to good to be true, then there’s a high likelihood that it’s not.

2. High referral income without a form of verification :- even if a site claims to be paying out huge referral bonuses, they should at least have a kind of identity verification method in place to stop people from engaging in sharp practices for the rewards. It’s common sense. On hunnybag the case is entirely different, they promise heaven and earth for referrers, yet no form of verification to confirm or ascertain the genuineness of the referrals.

Yet another indication that the referral income and the whole earning structure is a sham that’s never going to be paid to anyone in the end.

3. Risk of Malicious Software Download :- when you click on offers and proceed to download the apps, instead of being taken to an application store, they directly prompt you to download the app from their site. It’s a dangerous move and could put your device at risk of being infected by malware or disastrous softwares. So for your own good, stay away from the offers section, it’s scam and dangerous.

4. No way to reach customer support :- a real earning platform must have a customer support. If a site is launched without a customer support, then there is a high chance it’s a scam. No real, earning platform can pay users money without having a way to reach the customer service in case of issues. It’s never a good sign and in the case of hunnybag, it goes further to prove what we’ve been saying all day.

Top earners' list

5. Unrealistic top earners’ list :- this is another indication that the site is a waste of time. I checked out the top earners’ list and was surprised at the amount they claim those users have earned. How can a free earning platform pay such amount out ? The answer is clear.

Conclusion

Hunnybag is another version of hunnypay — another spam site that claimed to be paying people for free. They have same interface and exact reward structure. The scam keeps coming with new tactics to defraud and waste user’s time. So for your own good steer clear and channel that energy and time into some other profitable ventures.

Thanks.
