Jiotube.site Review: An Uncreative Attempt to Deceive Users

Jiotube.site is a website that claims to be rewarding users financially when they watch videos. The bonuses are enticing and highly attractive as they reward new users upon registration with 12,000 naira and more options to earn as much as they want. However, upon closer examination, I found out it’s same as an already established scam site, Momowatch that got launched some weeks ago.

There is no difference between the two but the unfortunate aspect is, alot of people are still falling for their tricks again in hopes of getting paid by them. I guess there is no denying the fact that, people would always fall prey to scam or deception as long as money is involved. To further enlighten you, we will be breaking down the earning structure of jiotube and my personal take on its legitimacy. So if you are on this article to find out if the platform is legit or not, then permit me to officially welcome you to the fold.

About Jiotube

Jiotube.site is more like the website link, the main name remains, MoMotube and as the name implies, it’s a platform where users are shown video clips with a chance to earn extra money when they view them. There are many spammy websites on the Internet claiming to pay users for watching short video clips; it’s an area that has been overly exploited by bad elements.

On MoMotube, you earn money by watching videos but it doesn’t end there. You also earn money by referring others and completing tasks, before we continue the discussion, there is need to break down the earning methods for you to understand better.

Earning Methods

There are three main ways of earning on the platform as stated on their website and they are as follows;

1. Referring – when you refer others, you earn 1,500 naira when they create an account and also, earn 25% of their earnings for a lifetime. It doesn’t even end there, you also earn 300 naira if someone clicks on your link without completing the sign up process. So you are earning not just when you get people to create an account using your link but when they tap on the link alone.

The referral program is as unrealistic as I had expected. Reason is, most sites like this intentionally make their referral incentive too attractive to be passed on, in the bid to attract a lot of users and generate massive traffic on their website. It’s a common trick, if you promise people huge amount of money for referring others, they go all out to invite new users. That’s the method being used by administrators of these websites.

2. Completing tasks – there is a task section on the jiotube site where users can earn extra money by clicking on adverts. They claim the tasks involve completing surveys but when you tap on any of them, you will be taken to an ad filled page. So that’s there own way of earning from the activities of the users and not an earning method for any user. You don’t complete any survey, you are made to forcefully view intrusive adverts.

The earnings attached to task completion is quite high but it doesn’t in any way mean that, you will be paid the accrued amount. On the contrary, clicking on those tasks will only lead to annoying, spammy push notifications being shown to you after a while.

3. Watching Videos – this is actually main earning method on the platform. You get to earn some money from watching short video clips. From what I saw on the video page, you can earn more than 2,000 naira from just watching a single video clip.

The earnings from watching of videos is also very high and unrealistic if we are being very honest but that’s the main way of earning on the site and the primary reason why alot of individuals are participating, hoping to get paid the figures they are seeing.

Is Jiotube.site Legit?

Jiotube.site is not legit! The website was created as a replacement for momowatch, you can check out my previous review on the other platform to understand better. The website was launched using the same script and surprisingly, the administrator didn’t display any form of creativity; in the sense that, nothing was changed on the new website.

Jiotube still has MoMotube as name and the earning methods are still exactly the same. The only thing that was changed is the domain name from momowatch.site to jiotube.site. However, a change of domain name doesn’t in any way mean the new platform is now legit.

Legitimacy goes beyond the domain name or website address. So bear in mind that, the current form of MoMotube is also not legit. There are numerous indications that it’s not legit in any way and they are as follows;

1. The Stringent Withdrawal Requirements – to withdraw, you have to earn up to 45,000 naira and also be on the 4th level. Level upgrades are dependent on how many videos you’ve seen and how active you are on the site. They intentionally made it so to ensure users waste more time on the website, generate enough revenue for them and when it’s time for payment, they either close down the platform or change the domain name to something else.

No free-to-earn platform can have a withdrawal threshold of 45,000 naira! Reason is, it’s not realistic. Real earning site have a low minimum threshold because, for an earning structure to be realistic it has to be minimal but this is not the case on MoMotube. The earning structure is simply unrealistic and their minimum withdrawal is also not realistic.

3. No way to reach the customer support. If you’ve been following my reviews and publications, then you will believe me when I say that, one key aspect of most of my publications is the issue of a money making platform not having a support team.

The truth is, there is no justifiable reason for a platform that claims to be paying money not to have a customer support. What if users encounter issues? What if payment is not disbursed? Who are the users going to message for resolutions to potential problems and questions?

These are some of the key questions you should ask before embarking on the journey of participating or joining any earning platform that doesn’t have a customer support team.

4. Spammy website claiming to be affiliated with MoMo. MoMo stands for Mobile Money and it’s a banking service provided by MTN. It has no affiliation or link with jiotube — it’s a common practice by spammy or scam platforms to claim to be certain established brands or companies in the bid to deceive users into participating. It’s a common trick and it often comes from scam platforms.

Therefore, you shouldn’t waste more of your time on jiotube, unless you have enough time on your hands and wouldn’t mind wasting some of it.

Conclusion

Jiotube.site is an old wine in a new bottle. The main URL was momowatch.site, it got popular till people discovered it’s a scam. So the owners probably thought it would be more better to change the website address as that could appear new to users but they left out every other information on the platform such as the name, the earning structure and the false claims of payment always popping up on the screen.

These signs made it clear that we’re still dealing with the old spammy site. So for your own good, steer clear as there is no chance of getting paid.
