The first step to getting started is to ensure you have a Palmpay account. Once you receive 20,000 or more at a time i.e. In a single transaction, you will immediately get a notification that you can spin to win cash prizes.

Click on the notification and open it to access the spin and win page. There you will be shown the option to spin and when you do that, you will either win normal cash prize or trial cash.

You either win 30 to 100,000 naira cash or you win up to 20,000 naira in trial cash. Since I started spinning the wheel, I haven’t been lucky to win any cash prize, but the trial cash is always abundantly available to be credited to a user after each spin.

In order to continue spinning the wheel, you have to keep receiving 20,000 naira or more from anywhere to your Palmpay account. The more money received, the more spins you accumulate and the higher your chances of securing a good prize.

Is Palmpay Spin and Win Worth It?

The Palmpay Spin and win promo is NOT worth it. I understand that it’s just a promotion aimed at rewarding people in any little way possible for using their accounts to receive money but I feel it’s an outright waste of time. Using your account to receive money is a normal day-to-day activity.

However, spinning the wheel hoping to win a prize is the waste of time. Reason being that, Palmpay designed it in such a way that, it’s literally impossible for one to successfully win a cash prize. Personally, I have once accumulated over 10 spins and the only thing I kept winning was trial cash; they couldn’t even let me win 30 naira in real cash.

So there is no point spinning the wheel. It’s a waste of time unless you just believing in trying your luck regardless of anything. In that case, you are probably doing it without having no expectations for a reward.

How to Use Palmpay Trial Cash

Trial Cash is the most common reward given to users upon spin, while it’s not so useful, I can’t say it’s entirely useless. You can claim the trial cash directly from the campaign page after you’ve spun the wheel and then, claim it.

Once claimed, it will be in your trial cash balance yielding you interest for a few days before expiry. Now, the interest is the benefit and usefulness. How? The interest you receive from the trial cash claimed will be added to your normal withdrawable balance on Palmpay until the trial cash expires.

So if you are somebody who transacts a lot on Palmpay, you can spin the wheel, accumulate and claim a lot of trial cash, then use the little interest it yields to either purchase airtime or do something else.

However, the main flaw is that, the interest is usually very insignificant, thus to earn something remotely tangible, you need to have a lot of trial cash. There are many other ways to earn trial cash besides the spin and win campaign, you can complete tasks on Palmpay to win some trial cash.

Regardless of the trial cash interest aspect, the spin promo is still not worth the time unless you completely erase the slightest expectations before you participate — at least that way, you won’t feel so bad when the wheel continuously falls on trial cash instead of the normal cash prizes.
