At first, it sounded cool to me, till I checked out the upgrade feature and the amount needed to upgrade one’s level. The least amount is $18 and the maximum is, $60 — which supposedly makes one’s referral slot unlimited and also increases the mining rate to 8 Surt per hour.
While it sounds cool to provide users with an option to increase their mining rate, it’s a common trick by scam project administrators to defraud users. The so called upgrade is a trick to get users to spend money on an app that has not even been proven to be legit in any way. I mean, a project that hasn’t even been around for a month is already asking users to increase their mining rate by depositing money.
It’s a very dangerous sign and for your own good, endeavour to conduct due diligence before you proceed to spend a dime on the project. Left for me, no one should even spend a dime because, I have personally witnessed something similar and it never ended well for people who opted to upgrade.

Secondly, how can a serious project restrict the ability of users to refer as many people as possible? I mean, referral is the way to grow and projects that reward referrers handsomely tend to grow massively. So it’s another sign of cluelessness and outright fraudulent act to ask users to deposit money to enjoy higher referral slots.
2. High Minimum Withdrawal
I completed some of the tasks and was able to earn up to 14 Surt coins, then I tried out the swap feature, converted my coins to USDT and tried to withdraw it to an exchange, only to be greeted with insufficient balance error. I tried further and was notified that the minimum withdrawal is $18, then it dawned on me that the project is another scam out to defraud unsuspecting individuals.

So for your own good, steer clear of surt, you can only earn a few coins, certainly not enough to reach the so called withdrawal threshold unless you take the risk of depositing money for upgrade.
3. Unstable App
The mobile app itself is always having errors. The mined coins sometimes don’t add up to the balance and it also crashes at intervals, showing the gross unpreparedness of the team. Instead of working hard towards getting the app fully ready for operation and use, their main focus is to get users to upgrade account in order to extort money from unsuspecting users.
Therefore, it’s in your own best interest to be wary of the app. It will be highly unwise to deposit money to an unstable application that also has so many flaws.
4. No Customer Support :-
There is no way to reach Surt Network customer support and they are not even as active as they should be on social media. Alot of users have been asking questions regarding their experiences on the app and the issues, yet there’s been no official response from the team and there is no direct way to reach support. Yet another compounding factor pointing to the scam nature of the app.
5. Not on Any Credible App store
Surt Network is not on Play store and it’s not on App store for iOS devices. It’s just on informal websites; another indication that it’s a scam and also potentially dangerous to your device.
