Threndx is a social messaging platform that allows users earn money by sharing the contents they would have shared without earning a dime on other social media platforms. The mobile application has been around for a while and recently, they launched a rather enticing offer — where all new users are given $4.5 with a chance to make their first withdrawals after earning extra $0.50 cents. However, despite the registration bonus, threndx seems more like a waste of time to me.

In this article, we will be having a look at all you should know about threndx application, the earning methods, pros and cons as well as my take on its legitimacy based on the analysis conducted. About Threndx

Threndx is a mobile application where users share contents, like, follow and engage with the posts made by friends to earn money. Unlike traditional social messaging platforms that require users to reach a certain level or meet some stringent conditions, threndx allows you earn money from the get-go.

Once you are done creating an account, login and start sharing your contents and when users engage; such as liking, sharing and commenting on the content shared, you earn points that can be converted to money and withdrawn to your local bank account.

What makes the whole thing highly enticing is the fact that, all new users are given 4,500 points otherwise $4.5 with an option to earn more by posting contents and engaging with the posts they see on their news feed. Threndx is actually designed in a very similar way as Facebook, you can add friends, follow people and also comments and like posts on your feed.

There is also an option to either share textual contents or pictures/videos to earn some points. However, the main issue with the app is the fact that, they have less audience or attention at the moment. The few audience makes it very difficult for one to find his or her close friends thus making it somewhat boring.

Earning Methods

When it comes to the earning methods, there isn’t much to speak of. Threndx doesn’t have a referral program at least at the time of writing the review. As there is no information pertaining their referral incentive anywhere on their official social media handle and on the app.

Regardless, there is one main way of earning on the app and i believe it’s been made clear already from the beginning of this review till this point but to make you understand better, let’s break it down;

Engaging With The Platform

This is the main way of earning on threndx and when you see, engaging, don’t think it just has to do with linking posts or commenting, the engagement is wholesome.

You engage and earn points by sharing your own contents — images, videos, text and memes etc. anything that comes to your mind or something you’ve been doing on other social messaging platforms and raking up good engagements, just continue doing it on threndx to earn points.

When you post an image or post a content, you get rewarded with 1 point instantly and stand a chance of earning even more if the audience find your content interesting. The more people like and comment on your posts, you earn more points.

Apart from the posting aspect, they also claim commenting, liking and sharing contents posted by others could also fetch you some points. But I haven’t personally confirmed this as I tried liking and commenting on some posts but didn’t receive any reward. The only action that earned me points was the posting aspect though, the lack of audience or scarcity of users on the platform further limited by earning potential.

Another less significant way to earn on the platform is Buying Points from Others. If you start buying points from others, i.e. when people attempt to sell their points you accept to buy and pay them in local currency, you earn 1 point for every 12 points purchased.

There are other benefits of buying points from users who are requesting a payout and they are as follows;

• Get Priority Visibility when you want to sell your own points. Your request will be shown at the top for other interested users to buy and credit you.
• Get faster approval if you should want to apply for Threndx Creators Agency (TCA)
• Builds your account trust rating making it easier for you to attract more buyers.

So it is safe to say there are two ways of earning on the app, you earn by creating your own contents, engaging with the posts of others and then earn some less significant income, build trust by buying the points being sold by others. I know it’s quite difficult to understand, but I’ll explain the whole point buying thing for you to understand.

Getting Started

The first step is to download Threndx mobile application from either Play store or App store depending on your OS.

After downloading, proceed to create an account with your real details, as an OTP will be sent to your email, simply copy it and submit to complete your registration process.

Then you will be shown the login form, if you signed up with phone number, make sure you enter the number without the first 0“. Let’s say your phone number is 07052200899, enter this into the column provided for phone number – 7052200899.

Once logged in, you can start creating contents or sharing your contents immediately to earn points. Each post gives you 1 point and it adds up to the $4.5 initially given to you as Signup reward.

Your goal therefore, is to build the balance till you’re able to accumulate $5 worth of points, then you can proceed to sell for local currency.

To access your balance/reward, click on the three lines by the right and tap on Rewards, you will be taken to a new page to see your balance, transactions and notifications. Click. On this same page, you can check out more detailed information about their reward structure and what to expect.

How to Withdraw from Threndx

To withdraw, ensure you have earned at least $5 (5,000 points) then you click on the three lines at the top right corner and select rewards, then tap on Sell to place a withdrawal order.

Like I said earlier, their withdrawal system is not instant and you don’t get paid by the owners of the platform, instead when you place a sell order, if someone needs points, he or she would accept your sell order, make the necessary local currency payment to you and then you will release the points to his or her account afterwards.

The withdrawal process makes it impossible for you to receive payments instantly because some requests may not even be honoured for a long while.

Is Threndx App Legit Or Scam?

Threndx may be legit but it is not worth it. There are numerous red flags or reasons not to participate such as the fact that, the earnings are very slow. You earn only 1 point for each post, so it will take a very long while for you to reach the threshold even after being given the registration bonus.

The system was designed in such a way that you have to share over hundred posts daily to be able to earn something tangible for a day and in all honesty, it’s quite exhausting.

Another factor is, threndx doesn’t really have users at the moment. So if you’re looking to earn from the engagements of users or at least see numerous posts to engage with, then it’s best to lower your expectations. Most posts on the platform don’t even get any like or view owing to their lack of audience. So this greatly limits the earning potential to just sharing posts that no one views.

The withdrawal process is terrible! It’s very bad and slow. The fact that, you have to be reliant on the so called buyers to get your payment puts the platform’s legitimacy in doubt. At first, I thought, the administrators were the once making the payment until I checked out their withdrawal page and steps.

Imagine a platform with little to no users, telling you that, users will have to buy your points for you to get paid. It simply means no one is getting paid in the long run until they(administrators) get involved in the payment process. The withdrawal process is bad and a serious red flag to consider.

Limited earning methods for users. As a user, you’re just left with the posting part to earn some cents. They don’t have any other serious or significant earning method and that’s not good enough especially for people who have better things to do with their time.

In summary, threndx app is not an ideal earning platform for any busy person looking for passive sources of income.

Pros

Honestly, there is nothing really enticing or positive about threndx as far as this review goes.

Cons

There are numerous red flags or reasons to probably consider checking out other earning platforms and they are;

• Poor earning rate/limited earning methods
• Terrible withdrawal process
• No known referral incentive
• No valid payment proof on the Internet or anywhere on social media.
• Application is not easy-to-use due to the frequent lags and traffic congestion.

Conclusion

Threndx may not be the best earning platform out there at the moment. If you have more important things to do, I wouldn’t advise you to waste time on a platform like this since the chances of paying is not even 100% due to the process.
